How to Reach

🚗 By Car (Self-Drive or Taxi)

If you’re traveling by car, the best route is via Hindupur, as the roads are in good condition. Below are routes from different cities:

From Bangalore (Approx. 120 km | 3-4 hours drive)

Route 1 (Recommended – Via Hindupur)

Start from Bangalore and take NH 75 towards Tumkur.
Exit NH 75 at Dobbaspet and take NH 69 towards Madhugiri.
Before reaching Madhugiri, take a diversion towards Hindupur.
From Hindupur, the temple is just 16-18 km away.
Follow signboards towards Doddadalavatta village to reach the temple.

✅ Why this route? Better roads and fewer traffic congestions.

Route 2 (Via Tumkur & Madhugiri)

Take NH 75 from Bangalore towards Tumkur.
Take a left at Tumkur and head towards Madhugiri.
From Madhugiri, take local roads towards Doddadalavatta village.

🚧 Note: Some village roads may not be in great condition.

From Tumkur (Approx. 50 km | 1.5-hour drive)

Take NH 69 towards Madhugiri.
Continue towards Hindupur Road for 18 km.
Follow signboards for Doddadalavatta village.

From Hindupur (Nearest Major Town – 18 km | 30 min drive)

From Hindupur, take the local road towards Madhugiri.
The temple is well-marked on Google Maps and signboards.
The road is in good condition, and auto-rickshaws/taxis are available.

🚌 By Bus (Public Transport)

If you prefer public transport, buses are available from major locations:

From Bangalore

KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) and private buses run frequently to Hindupur.
From Hindupur Bus Stand, you can take another local bus (runs every hour) or hire an auto-rickshaw to reach the temple.

From Tumkur

Take a bus to Madhugiri first.
From Madhugiri, hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to the temple (local buses might be infrequent).

From Hindupur (Nearest Bus Hub)

Regular local buses operate between Hindupur and the temple (runs every hour).
Alternatively, shared autos or taxis are also available.

By Train (Nearest Railway Stations & Connectivity)

If you are traveling by train, the nearest railway stations are:

1️⃣ Hindupur Railway Station (HUP) – 18 km (Best Option)

🚉 Trains Available:

Several express and passenger trains connect Hindupur with Bangalore, Tumkur, and Hyderabad.
Hindupur has good road connectivity to the temple.

🛺 From Hindupur to the Temple:

Hire an auto-rickshaw (approx. ₹200-₹300) OR
Take a local bus (every hour) towards the temple.

2️⃣ Tumkur Railway Station (TK) – 50 km

🚉 Trains Available:

Major trains from Bangalore and other cities stop here.

🛺 From Tumkur to the Temple:

Take a bus or taxi to Madhugiri (35 km).
Then hire a local auto/taxi to the temple (15 km from Madhugiri).

🚧 Note: Hindupur Railway Station is the better option due to its proximity.
